Pre Hospital medicine as the name suggests, means the patients are managed in the field or in the environment where the accident or illness happened. So this gives the health worker/Dr a correct perspective of the way this accident happened .and experience the environment in which the patient fell ill. Most of the time the Dr is able to witness the episode live as it happens.
